Cinematic Photography - The Art of Perception
The desire to create stunning images evolved from our love for horses and movies, as well as persistence in the quest to find our own vision, which has become the foundation of the way in which we work. Watching films, we have always been fascinated by the way they were lit - the way light and shadow were used to create a mood. As a team of photographic image artists, we have developed a lifelong interest in the visual image and have explored and refined a variety of techniques that dramatically grabs the attention of the viewer. This is how we see the world... with a cinematic approach, using perception, camera and imagaging tools to capture the essence of life, mood and movement in one single still image.
Our way of seeing and interpreting isn't necessarily a formal thing that professional photographers so often try to do.... It just happens and has become a fingerprint of our style. One has to only observe to know that each moment, each instant is unique and will never be reproduced. Being true artists, we are perfectionists and we feel that if our work doesn't touch you, we haven't done our jobs.
We serve as contributing photographers for Horses For Life Publications, the United States Equestrian Federation and a variety of other publications. We are not limited to only horses, but a variety of subjects.

Dwain’s keen eye and creative capacity have made him one of the finest equine photographers in the Southeast. His unique perspective when photographing people and horses allows him to capture the right emotion in every shot. Originally from Michigan with Native American roots, Dwain brings a smile, integrity and huge heart to every assignment, while showing a level of confidence and knowledge of the camera far beyond his years. His love for unusual angles, portraiture and cinematic style photography has given him a fresh new look amongst his peers, allowing him to create outstanding images that will likely exceed your expectations.
Although Daniela has begun to serve as a second shooter at many events, her passion is to breathe life into each photo by bringing the initial expression back into each image using advanced image editing tools. Daniela’s objective is to present a final image that evokes mood and feeling, or tells a story. Digitally editing images is incredibly time-consuming to do well, in fact it is an art form in and of itself. During the past few years, Daniela has immersed herself into her artistic capabilities in this field, allowing her to capture a mood that has become her trademark. Daniela is a native of Germany and deeply rooted in Classical Dressage.
